Six arrested in raid on Spencer Street residence

GREENVILLE — The Greenville Police Department arrested a total of six people at a residence on Spencer Street Thursday night, as well as recovered a quantity of what was believed to be crack cocaine.

 

Officers with the police department with the assistance of Lt. Tommy Grandfield and deputies from the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 3816 Spencer Street.

 

According to a report from the police department, there were 14 individuals detained at the residence, ranging from 19 to 62 years old. The cocaine as well as cash was seized, with four men arrested and charged with the manufacture and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, between four and 200 grams, in a Drug Free Zone.

The suspects were identified as

 

 — Clifford Earl Howard, 29, Greenville

— Joseph Kawl Stephens, 39, Greenville

— Kevin Anton Carter, 44, Greenville

— Marvin Lewis Howard, 34, Dallas

 

— Kenneth Earl Howard, 29, Greenville, was charged with evading arrest/detention.

 

— Robert Yuntae-Dawo, 34, of Greenville was arrested on an outstanding warrant for criminal trespass and a Hunt County probation revocation

warrant for burglary of a habitation.



All suspects were taken into custody and placed in the Hunt County Jail.
