GREENVILLE —
A Hunt County man is facing multiple charges, alleging he was driving while intoxicated when he was involved in an accident during which two people were injured in June 2012.
Steven Lynn Bell, 44, of Lone Oak, entered pleas of not guilty Monday, during a hearing in the 196th District Court, to one count of driving while intoxicated with two or more previous convictions, and two counts of failure to stop and render aid.
The indictments allege Bell was driving while intoxicated on June 29, 2012 and failed to give his name at the scene of an accident the same day in which a man and a woman were injured.
The indictments allege Bell was convicted of driving while intoxicated in Rains County in 2003 and in Wood County in 2003. Bell was also convicted of indecency with a child in Johnson County in 2003.
