Light snow still possible during the early morning hours

GREENVILLE — The latest update from the National Weather Service is calling for Hunt County to see anywhere between flurries and maybe a half-inch of snow during Friday morning, with more snow coming down well to our west. Hunt County is not currently listed under any watches, warnings or advisories:

.LIGHT SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF NORTH TEXAS FRIDAY MORNING...WITH BEST CHANCES FOR LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS WEST OF INTERSTATE 35 AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 20. ICY SPOTS ON AREA ROADWAYS AND BRIDGES WILL MAKE DRIVING HAZARDOUS WHERE ACCUMULATIONS OCCUR. SNOW WILL CHANGE TO RAIN FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS ALL OF NORTH TEXAS TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. ALTHOUGH MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY REMAIN UNCERTAIN THIS FAR OUT...IT APPEARS THAT A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE.
