Sun today, snow tomorrow?

GREENVILLE — The sun finally broke through the clouds this morning, and a slow warming trend appears to be on the way.

But the latest forecast from the National Weather Service is calling for a slight chance of snow Friday morning.

Mostly sunny skies are expected for the rest of the day, with a steady temperature around 43.

There is a 20 percent chance of snow between midnight and noon Friday with a low around 28 and a high of around 46. Any snow we receive is expected to change over to a mix of rain and snow after noon Friday. No smnow accumulation is in the forecast.
