One person was killed and another injured in a three-vehicle accident just outside of Greenville Wednesday evening.
The Texas Department of Public Safety reported Cynthia Elmore, 48 of Princeton, died in the crash, which occurred at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 380, just west of the city limits.
Elmore was reported driving a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo which crossed the lanes of traffic and collided with a 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by Diane Hodges of Farmersville.
A 2000 Chevrolet Silverado then struck Hodges’ pickup.
Elmore was ejected from her vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hodges was transported to Medical Center Plano where she was last reported in stable condition.
The driver of the Silverado was not injured.
