Council slated to meet in budget workshop

GREENVILLE — The Greenville City Council intends to spend most of the day Tuesday going over the proposed budget for next year, a budget which retains the current property tax rate.

The proposed budget does not include any pay raise, accept for a handful of city employees.

The budget workshop is scheduled for noon Tuesday at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center, 5501 U.S. Highway 69 South.
