Most school districts in the area came up short when it came to meeting the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) standards.
The Lone Oak Independent School District was an example of where all of the district’s schools met the standards, but the district itself was found to have missed the benchmark.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) Wednesday released the AYP results for all public and charter schools in the state.
