Another burst of cool weather this week

GREENVILLE — Another dose of cooler weather is expected to blow through the region Wednesday, with Thursday evening being a chilly one.

The National Weather Service forecast is calling for partly sunny skies today with a high near 79 and winds out of the south at 10 to 15 mph.

It is expected to be partly cloudy tonight, with a low around 60 and a south wind around 15 mph.

Wednesday is forecast to be mostly sunny, with a high near 86.Winds will start out of the south at 15 to 20 mph becoming west in the afternoon, at which point winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

The skies will be partly cloudy tomorrow night, with a low around 54. Winds will be blowing in from the north at 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 78, and north northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.

Thursday night is forecast to be mostly clear, with a low around 45.
