GREENVILLE — A jury in the 354th District Court found Francisco Javier Davila-Rodriguez guilty this afternoon of one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a public servant, in connection with a July 2010 shootout.
A punishment is underway this afternoon in the court.
Davila-Rodriguez is facing a maximum sentence of up to life in prison on the charge.
It is hoped construction work currently under way on one downtown Greenville street could help a plan to redevelop two vacant downtown buildings.
A study has begun concerning the feasibility of a proposed toll road between Hunt and Collin counties.
A hearing is set in state district court today for one of one of two Campbell residents, charged with capital murder in connection with the 2011 death of a 2 year-old child.
Dozens of dogs were seized Tuesday from a home in south Hunt County and the owner of the residence may be facing charges of animal cruelty.
