GREENVILLE — A jury in the 196th District Court this evening found Trevor Scott Copeland of Quinlan guilty of one count of injury to a child by an act in connection with a December 2011 incident in which the 2 year-old daughter of his girlfriend was severely injured. The panel will return to the court tomorrow to consider a potential punishment, which could range up to life in prison.

Severe thunderstorms crossed Hunt County Tuesday afternoon, bringing damaging high winds and flooding rains.
Both of the controversial measures the Quinlan City Council had on the agenda to vote on were either tabled or withdrawn during Monday’s City Council meeting in Quinlan City Hall.
