Brandon Thompson taken into custody on Van Zandt County warrant

GREENVILLE — The Greenville Police Department is reporting Brandon Thompson, the suspect in an alleged residential burglary in Van Zandt County and a standoff in Greenville one week ago, has been taken into custody.

The statement released a short time ago from the police department:

Brandon Cole Thompson, a Greenville resident being sought by police on a burglary warrant out of Van Zandt County, has been arrested.

 

Shortly before 6 p.m. on February 6, 2013, the Greenville Police Department received information that a suspect they were seeking, Brandon Cole Thompson, had returned to his residence in the 2300 block of Rabb Street.  Officers responded and arrested Thompson without incident.  

 

Thompson was served with a Burglary of a Habitation warrant issued out of Van Zandt County and was placed in the Hunt County Jail where he will be arraigned and subsequently transported to Van Zandt County.
