GREENVILLE —
A huge crowd of youngsters descended upon the Greenville SportsPark for the 16th Annual David Dickson Memorial Fishing Friday.
The event, sponsored by the Greenville Police Department, shifted locations this year, as the lake at Graham Park was unavailable due to ongoing renovations at the facility.
Even so, more than 100 anglers found their way to the “lake” at the SportsPark, with many grabbing a cane pole, a bobber and a hook. Others brought their own poles and lures.
