GREENVILLE —
Arby Little Soldier said Lakota Sioux leaders are upset at what they believe is a lack of progress in the investigation into the slaying of a sacred white buffalo near Greenville.
Little Soldier intends to conduct a press conference Tuesday morning at his Lakota Ranch concerning the probe of the deaths of Lightning Medicine Cloud and his mother, Buffalo Woman.
Little Soldier said he recently returned from a meeting with elders of the Lakota Sioux nation, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the investigation under way by the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office.
“They are going to hear from us,” Little Soldier said. “They need to step up their game.”
