Six neighborhoods, four cities celebrating National Night Out

GREENVILLE — Residents of four Hunt County cities will be spending some time outdoors this evening, learning ways to fight crime in their communities.

Caddo Mills , Commerce and Lone Oak will have central locations for their observances of the National Night Out, while multiple neighborhoods in Greenville intend to host activities.

The National Night Out is sponsored each year by the National Association of Town Watch to encourage people in neighborhoods across the country to come together and get to know each other, while meeting with law enforcement authorities and learning ways how to prevent crime, drug abuse and violence in their communities.

Anyone wanting to host an activity, or who may want additional information, can contact McCaslin by calling 903-457-2998.
