GREENVILLE —

During a Wednesday hearing in the 196th District Court, David Wayne Monk entered the guilty plea d to a charge of burglary of a habitation.
Under a plea bargain arrangement Monk, 33, was sentenced to seven years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division and was fined $1,000.
Monk and Shaun Michael Funderburk, both of Greenville, appeared on a surveillance camera breaking into a residence on County Road 1069 on the evening of April 4. The owner of the residence sent still shots and a video of the burglary and the suspects to the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office.
