Two suspects were injured in law enforcement involved shootings, which occurred within minutes of each other early Thursday morning, during separate raids conducted in the Quinlan area by the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
Five more people were reportedly taken into custody during the raids.
Sheriff Randy Meeks said his office’s Tactical Team served a narcotics search warrant at a home Private Road 3837 off of North Shore road at around 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
A suspect in the residence allegedly pulled a shotgun on the officers, who fired and wounded the suspect.
