GREENVILLE —
Supporters of efforts to help provide food to local needy families and individuals will have a chance today to enjoy a tasty lunch or dinner, and maybe win a great prize at the same time.
A barbecue and raffle benefiting Hunt County Shared Ministries (FISH), presented by L-3 Mission Integration, is scheduled at the Wesley United Methodist Church, 5302 Highway 69 South in Greenville.
The luncheon is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., with the dinner set between 5:30 and 7 p.m. this evening. All tickets will be $10 per person in advance from any FISH supporter, or at the door. Delivery is also available for orders of 10 meals or more, by calling 903-455-0545.
Officials with the agency have compiled a list of several items from which the winner of the raffle can choose, including a $500 shopping spree from the Calico Cat, a 42-inch HDTV Flat Screen from Crumpton’s Television, an iPad 2, a dinner with friends catered by Dairy Manor, and more. Tickets for the raffle are $10 each, with the drawing scheduled at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
