GREENVILLE —
The Greenville City Council may be considering the future employment of the City Attorney.
The contract of City Attorney Brent A. Money is scheduled to at least be discussed during Tuesday’s special Council session, starting at 5 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 2821 Washington Street.
An item on the agenda for the meeting calls for a closed door executive session under Local Government Code Section 551.074 City Council Appointee – City Attorney, Contract/Duties and Responsibilities.
The section allows for a confidential, “meeting involving the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear complaints or charges against a public officer or employee.”
No action items concerning the contract are included on Tuesday’s Council agenda.
