GREENVILLE —
Only three people have been reported infected with the West Nile virus in Hunt County in the past three weeks.
“We’re at 14 right now,” said Pam Andrews with the Hunt County Health Department. “It has really slowed down.”
The agency had received 12 reports of individuals with the virus across the county as of the end of last month, unchanged from Aug. 24 and up from 11 cases which had been recorded as of Aug. 20.
