GREENVILLE —
Women In Need (WIN) will be getting some help this weekend, in its effort to provide assistance for the area’s victims of domestic violence.
Students from the United Methodist North Texas Annual Conference will be in Greenville Saturday afternoon, to pick up donations for WIN, which is seeking contributions of gently used clothing, household goods and furnishings.
Those seeking to make a donation can contact the Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville, at 903-455-1594, to arrange for a pick up between 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday.
Women In Need assists the local victims of domestic violence through a variety of services, from emergency shelter care, a 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, support and accompaniment through the legal system, aftercare, assistance with clothing and household needs, as well as job training and referrals.
Those wanting additional information can contact Women In Need at 903-455-4612.
