One killed in one-vehicle accident

A local woman was killed Thursday night in a one vehicle accident just east of Greenville.

Services were pending with Lynch Funeral Service of Greenville Friday afternoon for Sharla Watts, 47, of Greenville.

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported Watts, 47, was driving a 1992 Chevrolet Euro eastbound on Farm-to-Market Road 499, just east of County Road 4106, at around 8:20 p.m. Thursday when the vehicle left the roadway and struck an object, ejecting Watts.

No additional information was immediately available.
