The project to widen U.S. Highway 380 just west of Greenville is now expected to be completed by this fall.
Chris Mountain, Assistant Area Engineer with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), said the last of the snags have apparently been cleared.
“After several months of utility delays TxDOT’s contractor, RK Hall LLC is back working again on this project,” Mountain said.
The contractor is reportedly constructing the last segment of the highway on west Lee Street, between the Kansas City Southern Railroad overpass and U.S. Highway 69.
