GREENVILLE —
The Greenville City Council intends tonight to add at least one new name to the Board of Development.
The Council also plans to name the next chairman of the panel during the regular session, starting at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 2821 Washington Street. A work session is also scheduled for 5 p.m. today.
The City Charter states the Council is responsible for the appointment of the Board of Development, and the terms of two Board members are scheduled to expire this month.
The Place 6 seat is currently vacant and Jerry Grady serves in Place 7 on the Board.
The current chairman of the Board of Development is Larry Green, Jr.
