LONE OAK —
Early voting continues today for a September 15 tax ratification election in the Lone Oak Independent School District.
Early voting will be conduced between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays at the Hunt County Voter Administration Office, 2241-A Washington Street in Greenville, through Sept. 11.
The district is seeking a 13-cent increase in the property tax rate. The proposed rate of 1.496 per $100 valuation is also higher than the rollback rate of 1.367005 per $100 valuation.
