GREENVILLE — Go ahead and pull those garbage cans back from the curb. The City of Greenville has announced that, due to the weather, there will be no garbage collections today:
Due to inclement weather and road conditions, IESI will not collect garbage or recycling on Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Service collections will be affected as follows:
— All commercial garbage service will be caught up by Saturday, December 29th
— All residential garbage customers will receive their second weekly collection
— Residential recycling will run 1-2 days behind but will be caught up by Saturday, December 29th
Next week, IESI will not collect garbage or recycling on Tuesday, January 1st. Garbage normally collected on Tuesday, January 1, will be collected on the next regular pick-up day. Residential recycling and Commercial garbage collections will run one day behind.
Live Christmas trees may be placed at the curb on the second garbage collection day each week for free collection by IESI. Ornaments, tinsel, and lights must be removed.
