BREAKING: Small child missing on municipal reservoir

GREENVILLE — A small child is missing and may have drowned on Greenville Municipal Reservoir No. 4.

City of Greenville Public Information Officer Lori Philyaw said the police department received a call shortly before 6 p.m. of a 3-year-old boy who was missing at the lake.

The child was reported to have been his father and disappeared in the water.

"The little boy went under and didn't come back up," Philyaw said, adding search and rescue teams have been scouring the location. "We've got everyone out here right now, but we still haven't found him."
