GREENVILLE —
Portions of some two dozen local streets will receive maintenance work in the coming year, under the 2012 City of Greenville Street Improvement Program.
Director of Public Works Massoud Ebrahim intends to brief the City Council about the proposed project during Tuesday’s Council workshop, starting at 5 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 2821 Washington Street. The regular session is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
In a memo to the Council, Ebrahim noted that a 2006 assessment of 200 miles of streets in Greenville is used as a strategy tool to schedule reconstruction/rehabilitation projects within the city.
