Ready to make waves?

GREENVILLE — City of Greenville officials are considering backing a project which could make big waves locally.

A Hawaiian Falls Adventure Park has been proposed for the city, as part of the Greenville Towne Center development along Interstate 30. A Town Hall meeting has been called for the evening of Sept. 20, to provide details on the park and how city leaders plan to bring it to Greenville.

During the past 10 years, Hawaiian Falls has built Adventure and Water Parks in Garland, The Colony, Mansfield, Roanoke, and, most recently Waco, as an extension of each city’s Parks and Recreation Department. The company is wanting to locate its sixth park in Greenville.
