WOLFE CITY —
Residents of this north Hunt County city are being advised to boil their drinking water until further notice, due to work being performed on the city’s water lines.
The water supply is also scheduled to be cut off at times, starting Tuesday.
The city is being required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to issue the notice, alerting residents that water being used for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water is to be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil for two minutes.
