GREENVILLE — Hunt County and most of North Texas remain under a very high risk of grass and wild fires again today, according to the Texas Forest Service, due to the cominbation of the severe drought, gusting winds and temperatures expected to reach the triple digits for the seventh straight day.
There is no ban on outdoor burning in Hunt County at the present time, although fire officials are urging anyone planning to conduct a controlled burn to take extra precautions to prevent the fire from spreading.
