Two brothers from Quinlan, arrested following an early Thursday morning shootout with the FBI, appeared in a Dallas federal courtroom Friday.
James Robert Cleveland Butler, 43, and Johnny Charles Butler, 46, have each been charged with the armed hold-up of a bank in Forney.
The Butlers made their initial appearance Friday afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Renee H. Toliver and have reportedly admitted to committing five armed hold-ups.
The FBI raided their home in the 10000 block of Cany Drive at around 6 a.m. Thursday, during which the Butlers were reported to have briefly exchanged gunfire with the agents before surrendering.
