GREENVILLE —
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is wanting the public’s thoughts on plans to extend Farm-to-Market Road 1570 in Greenville.
Three potential options for extending the road between State Highway 66 and U.S. Highway 380 are being considered. All of the proposed routes have their good and bad points, according to TxDOT Greenville Area Engineer Tammy Sims.
“We are in search of the most optimal alignment,” Sims said.
The project would consist of the construction of approximately a two-mile stretch of four-lane divided roadway.
