GREENVILLE —
Dozens of area merchants will be showing off their wares at the Hunt County Fairgrounds today during the annual Greenville Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase.
The Showcase is also featuring a wide variety of entertainment; including a car show, live animals and a chance to grab some cash ahead of the holiday shopping season.
The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Fairgrounds, 9800 Jack Finney Boulevard, and is sponsored by Texas Farm Bureau Insurance.
More than 60 vendors are expected to be on hand, both inside and out, with many participating in “Tasteful Tidbits” where businesses give away free samples of foods and desserts they have to offer.
Visitors to the Showcase can also enjoy a free hot dog lunch, courtesy of Alliance Bank.
The Famous Buffalo Wildthing and Ziggy the camel are scheduled to make an appearance and the Commerce Humane Society will be conducting an adopt a pet program.
There will be a new car show, while a cash cube will give visitors a chance to grab as much as they can.
