GREENVILLE —
Lovers of classic and antique cars should find a lot to look at this weekend, as the Caddo Mills Motor Club hosts the Third Annual Benefit Cars & Crafts Show Saturday at the Caddo Mills Middle School.
Registration for the event begins at 8 a.m., with judging beginning at 11 a.m. and the awards ceremony starting at 2 p.m. Saturday. The registration fee is $20 per entry. Dash plaques and goodie bags will be presented to the first 50 participants.
The event is expected to feature more than 20 classes of cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors. First and second place awards will be begin given out for each class. Kids can have an opportunity to vote for their favorite with the Kids Choice Awards.
The show at 2700 Gilmer Street and State Highway 36 North in Caddo Mills is also scheduled to include craft booths and entertainment. New cars offered by local dealerships and the Lions Club will be accepting donations of eyeglasses.
Proceeds from the show will benefit worthy charitable causes in the local area.
