L-3 executive still missing

GREENVILLE — One year ago, an executive with L-3 Communications in Greenville vanished without a trace.

Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks said the investigation into what happened to Matthew “Matt” Hallman remains open, but no new leads have surfaced in months.

“He just disappeared,” Meeks said.

Hallman has not been seen or heard from since July 23, 2011 when he texted his wife Kathy, who was at the couple’s Rockwall residence. Hallman had been performing some routine maintenance the couple owned in the 900 block of County Road 3310, also known as Bethel Road, in far south Greenville.
