GREENVILLE —
Area residents will have a chance to show off their best masquerade costumes in downtown Greenville tonight, and then take a blast into the past at the Hunt County Fairgrounds Saturday afternoon.
The Phoenix Charter School is presenting a Renaissance Masquerade Gala, starting at 8 p.m. tonight, at the City Bistro inside Landon’s Winery, 2508 Lee Street. The evening is designed for adults and will include a costume contest, a juggler, and hors d’oeurves.
A Renaissance Arats and Crafts Faire is scheduled at the Fairgrounds between 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday and is expected to feature games, food, music and arts and crafts, performances by The Howling Blades and Knights of the Four Winds, a Lord and Ladies Lair haunted house and food vendors.
Admission to the Renaissance Faire is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
