The housing market in Hunt County continues to show significant improvement from where it stood one year ago.
There were more new listings, more pending sales, more closed sales and higher sales prices, according to data posted by North Texas Real Estate Information Systems. Sellers were getting more of their sales price, and the inventory of available homes on the market continues to drop.
The report from the agency, which provides information management services to more than 23,000 Multiple Listing Services subscribers, including more than 5,000 real estate offices in North Texas, was released August 15 and also shows the county is showing some growth for the year to date, compared to the same point 12 months ago.
