For once, there is a little bit of good news to report on the local employment front.
More than 250 people found jobs in Hunt County between June and July, which helped the county’s unemployment rate dip slightly.
There is no cause for celebration just yet, however, as the rate is still a record for the month and remains among the highest among counties in the surrounding area.
