GREENVILLE —
The Greenville Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled tonight to hear two proposals for local automobile dealerships.
The Commission will conduct public hearings on requests for two conditional use permits — one each planned for Joe Ramsey Boulevard and Wesley Street — before voting on whether to recommend approval of the permits to the City Council.
The Commission is set to meet in regular session, starting at 5:30 p.m. tonight, in the Municipal Building, 2821 Washington Street.
The Council is scheduled to conduct public hearings before taking final votes when it meets October 9.
— Bobby Stovall, representing Barrett Motors, is seeking a conditional use permit to allow a used auto sales facility at an unaddressed location on Joe Ramsey Boulevard, between Interstate 30 and Jack Finney Boulevard, across from Wesley United Methodist Church. The property is currently undeveloped and is zoned general retail which allows for automobile sales with a conditional use permit.
— Dean Bradley, representing Agrarius LLC is seeking a conditional use permit to allow a used auto sales facility at 5900 Wesley Street.
