Sheriff's Posse hosting meet and greet Saturday

GREENVILLE — One would likely expect to find cowboys and maybe horses at a business specializing in western wear, and that will be the case Saturday in Greenville.

The Hunt County Sheriff’s Posse is scheduled to host a meet and greet event outside of the Cavender’s Boot City store, 5201 Wesley, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday.

The posse was first formed in 1994. The deputies on horseback often participate in ground searches and crowd control activities and are featured in many area parades and other events.
