GREENVILLE —
The City of Greenville will be seeking hundreds of thousands of dollars in state grant funding, to help pay for replacing decaying water lines under a half-dozen local streets.
The Greenville City Council also intends tonight to make the final payment to a consultant who helped the city land its last award under the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program.
A public hearing and vote on applying for a new grant is included under the regular agenda for tonight’s Council session, starting at 6 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 2821 Washington Street. A work session is also scheduled for 5 p.m.
