GREENVILLE —
The public will have another chance this week to offer input concerning a proposed increase in the Hunt County property tax rate.
The Hunt County Commissioners Court has scheduled public hearings on the proposed 2012-2013 county budget and tax rate, starting at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Auxiliary Courtroom, 2700 Johnson Street.
Last week, the commissioners voted 3-1 to propose a two-cent increase in the county’s property tax rate.
