GREENVILLE —
CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY TONIGHT
Tonight marks the beginning of the holiday season for the City of Greenville.
The Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the 22nd annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the City of Greenville Police and Courts Building at 3000 Lee Street. Bring the whole family for an evening of Christmas carols, holiday-worthy refreshments and one very special guest from the North Pole. Arrive at 5:30 p.m. for a chance to decorate Christmas ornaments and to take a ride on a horse-drawn carriage. The Christmas tree lighting countdown begins at 6:30 p.m., so arrive early to visit, sip on some hot cocoa and get into the holiday spirit. See you there!
With the Holiday Season upon us, the Parks and Recreation Department is offering some activities to help get the New Year started healthy! Go to www.inparksweplay.com to register for or find information on any of our activities. We are working to offer a variety of programs for the community.
