GREENVILLE — Lemon/Orange Pound Cake – Leslie Gibson
1 box Yellow Cake Mix
1 box (small) Lemon Instant Pudding
2/3 cup Oil
2/3 cup Water
4 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
Blend all ingredients together on medium speed. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 50-55 minutes at 350 degrees.
Filling and Glaze:
1-1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
3/8 cup Orange Juice
Mix orange juice and powdered sugar together.
Punch holes in cake and pour most of this liquid over HOT cake and let it soak in.
After cooling 10 minutes or so, take out of pan and pour remainder over the top letting some drizzle down the sides.
