GREENVILLE —
Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 101 calls Tuesday, took nine people into custody and filed 23 reports.
The arrests included four people each for outstanding warrants and theft and one person for assault/family violence.
Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 calls, took 11 people into custody and filed 15 reports.
The arrests included nine people for outstanding warrants and one person each for aggravated robbery and assault causing bodily injury/family violence.

District Court
— Christopher Ausbie, 38, Balch Springs, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to eight years in prison with a $2,000 fine.
— Ricky Lynn McCasland Jr., 20, Quinlan, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle and was sentenced to 149 days in the Hunt County Jail.
— Melinda Annette Boydston, 47, Linden, had probation on a charge of felony DWI revoked and was sentenced to four years in prison.
— Alesha Marie Sexton, 21, Commerce, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was placed on three years of deferred adjudication probation, with 80 hours of community service and a $500 fine.
— Michael Joe Oliva, 25, Greenville, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to eight years in prison.
