Three people arrested for theft Wednesday

Officers with the Greenville Police Department made 11 arrests between Tuesday and Wednesday, three of which involved theft.

Officers were dispatched to 154 calls and filed 35 reports. Of those people taken into custody, a 39-year-old woman from Greenville and a 54-year-old woman, address unknown, were arrested at around 1:20 p.m. Wednesday on charges of theft. A 42-year-old male was arrested at around 8 p.m. Wednesday and also was charged with theft.

Seven people were arrested for outstanding warrants and one person was taken into custody for no driver’s license.

District Court

— Geneva Ann Carlisle, 41, Rosston, Ariz., forfeited bond on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. A warrant was ordered for Carlisle’s arrest and new bond was not set.

— Laura Michelle Irwin, 34, Greenville, forfeited bond on a charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information. A warrant was ordered for Irwin’s arrest and new bond was not set.

— Sureka Ann Miles, 36, Greenville, forfeited bond on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. A warrant was ordered for Miles’ arrest and new bond was not set.

— April Ashby Allen, 33, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of felony DWI and was placed on 10 years of probation with 10 days in the Hunt County Jail.

— Daniel Garcia Garcia, 48, Quinlan, forfeited bond on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. A warrant was ordered for Garcia’s arrest and new bond was not set.

— Erika Ann Gossett, a.k.a. Erika Lambert, 32, Greenville, entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. A warrant was ordered for Gossett/Lambert’s arrest and new bond was not set.

County Court-at-Law No. 2

— Christopher Edward Rhodes entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on 16 months of probation with a $750 fine.

— Phillip Charles Colley Jr. entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on 12 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $500 fine.

— Sandy Lee Stubbs entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on 16 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $300 fine.

— Roy Anthony Jones entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of driving while license invalid with previous conviction and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with a $100 fine.

— Joseph Michael Latham entered a plea of guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana and was placed on 12 months of deferred adjudication probation with a $500 fine.

— Timothy Wade Parker entered a plea of guilty to a charge of open container and was placed on 90 days months of deferred adjudication probation.

— Tommy Joe Shofner Jr. entered a plea of guilty to a charge of open container and was placed on 90 days months of deferred adjudication probation.
