Renea White, 48, went to be with her lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on Feb. 3, 2013, in Tarrant County, the daughter of Jim and Carol Alford of Mansfield and Richard and Beverly Lyday of Celeste.
She was born on Dec. 20, 1964, in Longview. Renea married her beloved husband, Brad White, on May 28, 1982. She had worked as a secretary for Celeste ISD since October of 1989.
Those left to celebrate her life include her husband, Brad; son Chris White and wife Tristian of Celeste; daughter Machelle White of Celeste; grandchildren Tanner White, Ashlyn White, Rylan White, Allyson White and Paisley White, all of Celeste; her parents; brothers Allen Brown of Plano and Ricky Lyday of Sherman; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Jeane Glasscock of Celeste.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Peters Funeral Home with interment to follow at Hogeye Cemetery in Celeste.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
