GREENVILLE — Lucy Cook Holmes, 84, passed away Jan. 22, 2013, in Greenville at the Colonial Lodge/Tender Care Facility.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1928, in Ft. Smith, Ark., to Joseph and Cora Barbara Friga Cook. Lucy attended St. Boniface School and graduated from St. Scholastica High School. She married August Delaloye of Ft. Smith in 1948 and had five children. The family moved to Dallas in 1955.

She was a homemaker but later retired from an optical company. She divorced and remarried later in life. Lucy loved to dance her entire life. She also enjoyed her home, working outdoors cultivating flowers.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Delaloye of Grand Junction, Colo., and Nick Delaloye and wife Dee of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three daughters, Sarah Delaloye and husband John Alexander of Grand Junction, Colo., Janie Parish and husband Chris of Greenville, and Ann Robinson and husband Jeff of Tulsa, Okla; eight grandchildren, Nikay Delaloye, Lauren Delaloye, Jordan Delaloye, Ryan Delaloye, Jeff Parish, Zach Parish, Luke Robinson and Rae Robinson; and five great-grandchildren, Tiffany Parish, Ian Parish, Robert Parish, Ailya MacMurray and Abby Porter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ft. Smith, Ark.
