Sharon Furbay, 63, passed away Jan. 7, 2013, in Plano.
Sharon was born March 18, 1949, in Greenville to her loving parents Hershel and Durelle Heath. Sharon became a nurse and worked in the medical profession for many years.
She met and later married the love of her life, Lonny Furbay, on July 7, 1972, in Hugo, Okla. Lonny and Sharon were married for 40 years and fell in love a little more each day.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Lonny Furbay; a son, Larry David Furbay; her parents, Hershel and Durelle; and her brother, Larry Heath.
Those left to celebrate her life include her daughter, Debra Furbay; sister Sandra Heath; brothers Jason and Charlie Heath; nieces Wendy Regan and husband Jimmy and Delilah Bradshaw and husband Jerry; nephews Bradford Heath and wife Kay and Jesse Heath and wife Emily; great-nephews Chris Regan and wife Tanya, Matthew Regan, Nathan Regan and Aaron Heath; great-nieces Brooklyn and Kaitlyn Heath; great-great-nephews Brady and Brice Regan; and great-great-nieces Kathaleen Regan, Zayne Bradshaw and Olivia Heath.
A funeral service is at 3 p.m. today at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs. Interment will immediately follow the service at Restlawn Memorial Park in Sulphur Springs.
