GREENVILLE — Craig Lee Schmock, 45, of Greenville, passed away Jan. 7, 2013, at the Hunt Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Frank Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Craig was born in Ludington, Mich., on Nov. 15, 1967, to Douglas and Cindy Carlson Schmock. He married Mandy Ray on May 23, 1998, in Greenville.

Craig worked for Moore Tire’s in Dallas. Growing up and even as he was older, he loved to go back home to Michigan and play in the sand dunes and snow. Having a love for the outdoors, he loved fishing, going camping and spending time with family and friends, especially at his BBQ cookouts.

Survivors include his wife of Greenville; his mother, Cindy Reimann of Michigan; son Jarrett Douglas Schmock of Greenville; daughters Jacey Nicole Schmock, Hannah Lee Schmock and Haley Renee Schmock, all of Greenville; brothers Shawn Sroka and Jacob Schmock; sisters Missy Kolosa, Stefanie Malburg and Jessica Schmock, all of Michigan; his grandmother, Josephine Carlson; mother-in-law Rita Ray of Greenville; brother-in-law Chris Ray; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and many other friends whom he had adopted and considered family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father in 1993; and a cousin, Richard Koob.

Pallbearers will be Chris Ray, Shawn Sroka, James Easley, Andy Bocangera, John Krie and L.T. Worley.
